Hearth & Hound

Solid ash. Wool. Made to sit in a room you like.

Dog beds are designed for the dog. Nobody designs for the room.

Hearth & Hound is a piece of furniture first — solid ash frame, hand-tied wool cushion, joinery you would accept on a dining chair — that your dog happens to sleep in.

Concept render — Hearth & Hound does not exist yet. Nothing on this page is a photograph.

You will not want to hide it

The nylon dome goes in the laundry room because it has to. This sits in the living room because you put it there on purpose.

Washable without being plastic

Removable wool-blend cover, machine washable cold. The frame is finished with a hardwax oil you can spot-repair with a cloth instead of replacing the whole thing.

Built to outlast the dog

Mortise-and-tenon, no particle board, no staples holding structure. It should go to the next dog, and probably the one after that.

First run is limited. A $1 refundable deposit holds your place and locks launch pricing.

Straight answer before you reach for a card: the images on this page are concept renders. Nothing has been manufactured yet. Your $1 reserves a place in the first run and locks launch pricing, and it is refundable at any time, for any reason, by replying to the receipt. If the first run never happens you get the dollar back and an email saying so. One more thing before you pay: the checkout page and your card statement will both say LaceLuxx, not Hearth & Hound — it is an existing account of ours and this is not yet a separate company.
